Our Leduc Black Gold Optimist Club's 20th Anniversary Dinner and Celebration, held in the Royal Canadian Legion Leduc on September 19th, was a well attended success - both socially and in raising approximately $1500.00 via the silent auction conducted.
Congratulations and Thanks to all for the planning and effort involved with this milestone.

Special Note: The Dinner Optimist Club of Edmonton was the sponsor Club for the Black Gold Optimist Club of Leduc and the Edmonton Dinner Club celebrates its 90th anniversary this year!

The Upcoming Meeting Date is Thurs. Sept. 24, 2015

The next regular meeting of the Black Gold Optimist Club of Leduc will be on Thursday September 24th starting at 7:30pm in the back section of Smitty's Restaurant Leduc located at #5004 - 50 Ave. Leduc.
Those wanting to personally order food / dinner should arrive earlier to allow time to eat leisurely before the meeting commences.
We encourage all members to attend and give your important voices to discussions, decisions and voting.
Guests and potential new members are always WELCOME to attend and learn more about our fundraising, Programs & Activities for the benefit of Youth and Community.

Fourth Quarter Zone 5 Optimists Meeting / Horseshoes Tournament / Leduc Club 20th Anniversary Social, Dinner and Celebration on September 19th

On Saturday September 19, 2015 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 108 (#5210 - 50 Avenue Leduc) the following will take place:

The Fourth Quarter Zone 5 Optimists Meeting, hosted by the Leduc Club, starts at 2:00pm in the Legion; followed by the annual Optimist members Horseshoes Tournament held in the park behind the Legion building.

 

After that contest, it is back into the Legion for those who have purchased tickets to the Black Gold Optimist Club of Leduc 20th Anniversary Social, Dinner and Celebration with cocktails starting at 5:00pm; the dinner beginning at 6:00pm and celebration events winding up the evening.
